The Bazooka: Easy Water Main Dechlorination and Chlorination
The Bazooka connects directly to a 2 1/2", 4", or 4 1/2" fire hydrant or can be connected to a minimum 2" riser for dechlorination of super-chlorinated water mains.
As the water passes through the unit it creates a vacuum which pulls the chemical from its supply container into the system via the rotometer rate valve assembly. The rotometer rate assembly provides precise control of the chlorination or dechlorination solution strength to avoid chemical waste or overfeeding.
A 1" or 1 1/2" liquid Bazooka is recommended for super-chlorinating a new or repaired water main.
