The Clean Water Act serves as the EPA's foundation for protecting the environment and public health. This Act prohibits all chlorinated swimming pool discharges and filter back-flushing without dechlorinating the water prior to discharge.
Bypass Eliminator is good for flows over 600 GPM.
The Eliminator: Swimming Pool Dechlorinator
The 3/4" By-Pass Eliminator is designed for flows over 600 GPM, and is generally used for 4" line sizes and above. A gate, butterfly, or ball valve (supplied by others) is placed in-line and used to throttle flow to create a vacuum suction from the Captor™ container through the Eliminator and back into the pipeline. This creates a homogenious mixture in the backwash line.
